How Natural Ingredients Helped Me Regain My Confidence

Telling from personal experience, the realization of losing hair can be an awkwardly difficult ordeal, especially if you are a man. You are just not allowed to show how uncomfortable you are about your receding hairline.

Everywhere I went, whether it was my workplace or parties, I was expected to man up to my baldness. The hair on the top, in the meantime, had thinned drastically by now and I resembled a crude caricature of an old-fashioned school teacher. I was so petrified that I stopped combing my hair and instead, used my fingers to manage it.

What astonished me the most as I experienced my hair loss journey, was the amount it influenced my confidence and ability to converse. The moment I looked in the mirror, I had to deal with bursts of self-doubt that constantly told me that I wasn’t good enough. And trust me, a day comes when you just get up and shout out to yourself, in your mind, “Enough is enough”.

At that very moment, I started seeking the natural ways of growing hair and preventing further hair loss. But, it wasn’t as easy as it may seem. I came across many products that promised a lot but fail to deliver.

STAY AWAY FROM CHEMICALS

I would like to point out, in my case, products with chemicals as their ingredients did more harm than good. If you see a hair product with constituents such as Sulfates, Parabens (methylparaben and propylparaben) and Silicones, avoid them. These ingredients can play havoc with your hormone function and may lead to itchy scalp, dry hair and even low sperm count.

MY CURRENT HAIR ROUTINE

Eventually, I went the natural way to keep Alopecia at bay. Here are some natural ingredients that I tried which can boost growth and preserve your precious mane.

  • Aloe Vera has for quite some time been utilised for treating Alopecia. It's renowned for having a soothing effect on the scalp. It is also a natural hair conditioner. One of the most potent tools against dandruff, Aloe Vera unblocks hair follicles that get clogged by too much oil. I applied pure aloe Vera gel a couple of times each week and saw the benefits within a month.

  • I can swear by the benefits of coconut oil. It consists of unsaturated fats that sneak directly into the hair shaft and prevents protein loss from hair. I generally use coconut oil before washing my hair leaving it in for half an hour before shampooing.

  • I am in love with hair rinses. The first time I rinsed my hair with herbs I felt its nourishing effect on my hair follicles. The right time to rinse your hair is after you wash it. It helps you to condition, restore and stimulate hair growth. My preferred herbs for hair rinse include chamomile, hibiscus, and rosemary.

It is important to opt for products that consist of natural ingredients. I have a couple of secret items that helped me regain my confidence through healthy hair growth and those are TruePure Caffeine Shampoo & Argon Oil Conditioner. These are natural products with a magical formula that averts hair fall while at the same time advancing the development of new hair follicles. The conditioner has a heady blend of natural ingredients and Argan Oil to give a great bounce and feel to your hair. I have found that adding TruePure products to my routine has enabled me to curtail hair loss and boost the natural growth of my hair.

TO CONCLUDE...

What brought me results are the products with natural ingredients. Besides, I improved my nutrition by incorporating protein rich foods in my diet regimen.

I want you to remember that patience is a virtue. Any hair care regimen takes time to show results. It took me around 8 months to curtail my hair loss and eventually, I saw signs of growth in my bald patches. Now I no longer shy away from social gatherings and approach life with a new found confidence. With patience, good products and proper diet, you can keep your hair and self belief intact.
